" And the king of Sodom went out to meet him (Abram) after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king's dale. And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:
And blessed be the most high GOD, WHICH HATH DELIVERED THINE ENEMISES INTO THY HAND. And he gave him tithes of all.( Genesis 18:17-24)
" After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, FEAR NOT, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward." (Genesis 15:1)

"And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him. And Sarah said, GOD HATH MADE ME TO LAUGH, so that all that hear will laugh with me. " And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things." (Genesis 21:5-6)
COMMENT; Even laughter is a great gift of God!
" And the Lord appeared unto him (Isaac) the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: FEAR NOT, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham's sake. And he builded an altar there, and called upon the name of the Lord, and pitched his tent there: and there Isaac's servants digged a well. "(Genesis 26:24-25)
" And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the Lord be my God And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the TENTH unto thee."(Genesis 28:20-22)
COMMENT: God blessed Jacob greatly for TITHING. Those — who with their human reasoning — try to teach one doesn't need to tithe — not only are teaching others to disobey one of God's Laws — but are also may influence one to lose the great BLESSINGS that come from God when they tithe!
And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither. And THE LORD WAS WITH JOSEPH , and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that THE LORD WAS WITH HIM , and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand."(Geneis 39:1-3)
COMMENT: Remember that one of Christ's names is EMMANUEL, which means, "GOD WITH US" ! (Matthew 1:23)
" But as for you, ye thought evil against me ;BUT GOD MEANT IT UNTO GOOD, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive." (Genesis 50:20)
COMMENT: Always remember that God can take the evil and unhappy things which happen in your live and turn them around for good! (Romans 8:28)
" And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever." (Exodus 14:13)
"And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD THAT HEALETH THEE.
COMMENT: God promises blessings of HEALING to those who obey His Commandments. One of His names is "Jehovah Ropheka" — or "Yaweh Ropheka" — " meaning — "The LORD YOUR HEALER".
" And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and og the king of bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the battle at edrei. (Numbers 22:32-34)

CALEB SPEAKING " Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the Lord my God. And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children's for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the Lord my God. And now, behold, the Lord hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the Lord spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old. As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in. Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the Lord spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the Lord will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the Lord said." and they shall walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:29-31)

"Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel." (Isaiah 41:14)
" But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art Mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears. Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me." " Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the JUST SHALL LIVE BY HIS FAITH." (Habakkuk 2:4)
COMMENT: Notice that this scripure is quoted again in Romans 1:7, Galatians 3:11 and Hebrews 10:38! God surely deems this attribute important to place it in His Word FOUR times!
" Turn you to the strong hold, ye PRISONERS OF HOPE : even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;" (Zechariah 9:12)
" No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." ( Matthew 6:24-34)
COMMENT: IF WE CAN LIVE IN THE SPIRIT OF THE ABOVE WORDS SPOKEN BY OUR SAVIOUR; WE WILL HAVE MUCH GREATER PEACE IN OUR LIFE. WE SHOULD READ THIS PASSAGE OFTEN !!!
" The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, He marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. (Matthew 8:8-10)
" But Jesus turned Him about, and when He saw her, He said, Daughter, be of good comfort; THY FAITH HATH MADE THEE WHOLE. And the woman was made whole from that hour." (Matthew 9:22)
" Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done." (Matthew 21:21)
" And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." (Matthew 21:22)
" And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God." (Mark ll:22)
" And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith." (Luke 17:5)
" I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:8)
COMMENT: WE SHOULD DETERMINE TO BE ONE WHERE HE WILL FIND FAITH!
" And His name through faith in His name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by Him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all." (Acts 3:16)
" And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." (Acts' 16:31)
"For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith." (Romans 1:17)
" Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:" (Romans 5:1)
" And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)
" Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."( Romans 8:35-39)
"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17)
" That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God." (1 Corinthians 2:5)
" But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith." (Galatians 3:11)
"That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." (Galatians 3:14)
"In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the FAITH OF HIM ." (Ephesians 3:12)
"Now unto him that is able to do EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us," (Ephesians 3:20)
" Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might." (Ephesians 6:10)
"Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked." (Ephesians 6:16)
" I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." (Philippians 4:13)
"Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him." (Hebrew 10:38)
" Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul." (Hebrew 10:35-39)
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."(Hebrews 11:1)
" But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." (Hebrew 11:6)
" Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." (Hebrews 13:5)
"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." (Hebrew 13:8)
" But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed." (James 1:6)
"Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." (Jude 24-25)
"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." ( 3 John 2)
